Hanging Candles
Looking for candle hanging candle holder.?
I recently saw a home with pillar candles in a holders hanging on the front porch. I have searched for something like this with no luck. They were simple metal and glass hanging on a chain with a 4in or so tall white pillar candle inside. Does anyone know where I could find somehting along these lines either online or in a catalog or even a store?
I've purchased two, one from Pier 1 and one from Cost Plus World Market.
Want to sell your house quickly? Then are you doing what you are supposed to do? Is the house perfect for a sale out? Is there something that might offend the buyer? Before selling house, especially your house, there are certain things that you need to keep in mind so that buyers are duly impressed and they want to purchase the house as quickly as you might want to sell it.
Look around your house. Is there something that might make the buyers think that you might not be ready to sell the house? Is the fine china vase, that your grandmother gifted you, still there? Are your family pictures still up on the wall? Then remove the vase and the pictures. Because when the buyer enters, they see their family pictures up on the wall, instead of yours, it will not help to sell your house quickly.
If the chandelier is still hanging and you do not want to sell it, remove it. Put it down. You would not want the buyer to be disappointed when they develop a liking for the chandelier and then they get to know that it's not for sale. That would make them negotiate and it will get in the way of selling your house quickly.
Remove or replace your favourite items. If the expensive painting you bought from the art gallery, still up and you do not have the heart to sell it, then put it down. Replace it with another painting or frame that might just look perfect with the wall and you want to give it out too. That way you will have some clutter out of your way and there will be less stuff to take along to your new destination.
Stand at the entrance door and think abut yourself as the buyer. Scrutinize the environment. Is there something that might offend you? Something that might disturb you? Arrange the furniture in such a way that it appeals the buyer. The more tempting the house, the quicker your house will sell. Put up minimum furniture but group them in a very contemporary way that it attracts the buyer. This arranging of furniture is known is vignette.
Remove the books on the shelves and replace them with pieces of furniture that you do not want. Vases, small frames, candles, what ever goes. That will give it a more sophisticated touch and the books will be put down in the storage box and packing up stuff would be easier.
Appeal the buyer through such ways. This will help to sell your house quickly. The minimum the furniture and the more the contemporary the setup of the house, the buyer would be more interested to buy as the buyer already has their stuff that is ready to be moved in and it would be a hassle for the buyer to mingle with the furniture and to discard the previous stuff too.
Just remember, all you need to do is 'appeal' the buyer.
